Mr. Wong

  • Mr Wong Sydney

one of the best Cantonese restaurants in town

Mr. Wong is one of the restaurants within the Establishment hotel. The entrance is not through the hotel though but via a back alley. From Georges Street make a right on Bridge Street, and the alley is just a few steps away along Bridge.

The stunning decor takes you to the time of colonial Shanghai: antique furnishings, timber flooring and 1920’s inspired pictures. And you certainly don’t feel in Sydney while you’re there!

This award winning restaurant serves outstanding traditional Cantonese cuisine.

Go there at lunch for their to-die-for dim-sun (normally that’s when you should eat them): the dim-sum Chef is a former chef from Hakkasan Dubai!

In the evening, try one of their roasted meat plates: if you love Peking duck, don’t hesitate a second!

The restaurant is cavernous but features many smaller, intimate seating nooks so it doesn’t feel impersonal.

No bookings expect for lunch and, for dinner only for min. parties of 6

Of course, it comes with a tag price…
