Tucked in a Wadi between Madaba and the Dead Sea, the hotel is squeezed in between cliffs, giving the site a stunning raw beauty. It’s an oasis in the middle of an arid landscape.

The decor of the hotel is zen inspired, with lots of wood and beige hues, very relaxing. This is the perfect place to unplug.

A separate building is dedicated to Spa treatments with a beautiful outdoor hot pool, a natural hot spring waterfall cascading directly into it. It is also possible to go there for the day only. Book your treatment in advance (have a look at the spa menu online).

Rooms have either a balcony or a terrace, which I recommend if you want to enjoy the jaw-dropping view from your room (they have divine organic cotton robes!).

They offer a wide range of excursions and several dining options, one of which is the possibility to dine on top of a hill facing the Dead Sea (personally, I did not do it).

The hotel is operated by the luxury Thai hotel chain Six Senses. And yes, most of their therapists are Thai.

Sometimes yoga retreats happen there too.

Transfer can be arranged by the hotel. It takes more or less one hour from Amman to reach the place.
