Le Marché des Enfants Rouges

Lunch in the oldest market in town

Information

9 Rue de Beauce, 75003 Paris, France

Le Marché des Enfants Rouges translates in English in the red children market.

Located in the Marais, it is the oldest covered market in town. It was established in 1615!

There was an orphanage nearby where the children wore red clothes. That’s the origin of the name.

I really like the place. Such a cool place for lunch!
