Botanic Gardens is a really cute restaurant, perfect for lunch.

I stumbled upon it while going through the Royal Botanic Gardens (that’s what flaneuring is all about: serendipitous encounters), a mind-soothing stroll, after the hustle and bustle of the CBD, and looking for a place to have a rest.

It was lunchtime.; It was perfect.

It’s located next to a pond, and if the weather allows you can lunch on their terrace and admire the trees, the plants, the birds… and the strollers.

The atmosphere is sleek and contemporary and the lunch menu is perfect. Think filled zucchini flowers, roasted beetroot and pancetta or herb crusted lamb rack.

Enjoy a refreshing break in the lush environment of a stunning botanic garden.
