As many things in my life, this new project happened by chance. I had not planned to open a boutique but it came to me unexpectedly and I couldn’t refuse it.

In this boutique, you will find my V. Barkowski home textiles collection, created in 1998, shortly after my arrival in Marrakech and presented for the first time at Maison & Objet in 2001. My first point of sale was then Françoise Dorget iconic boutique, Caravane, in Paris. After that, many other POS followed  throughout the world.

But, at some points, I was attracted by other horizons, other projects I wanted to work on and I put my collection on hold during several years.

However, following repeated requests by clients, I decided to get back in the saddle and relaunch my collection. It’s kind of going back to the roots.

Besides home textiles, we sell my bags collection also under the V.Barkowski brand name. These are unique pieces that I create over time, depending on the leather I can find. Also some accessories and pieces from the No-Mad collections, I also designed.

In the framework of the Marrakech Biennale, we will exhibit some works by the painter Daniele Galliano who stayed several times in Marrakech.

The boutique is currently open upon appointment only.
