The MACMA which stands for the Musée d’art et de culture de Marrakech (Marrakech Museum of Art and Culture) has just opened its doors. It’s been inaugurated during the 2016 Marrakech Biennale, featuring an exhibition entitled « Face à l’Histoire » (facing history) with artworks of Najia Mehadji (painter) et Mahi Binebine (painter, illustrator, sculptor et novelist).

I bet we will soon grow fond of this private initiative: not only because of its owner’s ambition to become one of the finest art galleries in the country, but also because it comprises of a literary café and an art library.
