Hotel Fabric is located in a former textile factory that has been revamped into a fabulous boutique hotel in the former manufacturing district of Oberkampf. The décor retains key elements recalling the building’s former life.

Rear-facing rooms have a view of a courtyard “à la parisienne” – you can look, but unfortunately the space is not open to guests. Club and superior rooms are charming but small (hey, you’re in Paris!), but each includes a private bathroom.

Although there are only 33 rooms (small hotel, that’s what I like), the place has everything to satisfy your needs: a fitness room, a massage room (with an on-call masseuse), a hammam (privatized during the time you use it) … and above all, charming personnel.

Oberkampf is not a neighbourhood you might normally consider, but it’s fast emerging as one of the city’s up-and-coming districts, and offers you a “new” Paris to discover. Hotel Fabric is really an enjoyable hotel.
