 Supporting up-and-coming artists

Information

 261 Boulevard Raspail, 75014 – metro Raspail - Fondation Cartier's website

The Fondation Cartier is an antidote to the glitz and “grandeur” of the Fondation Louis Vuitton.

Housed in a delicate glass and steel structure designed by Jean Nouvel (the architect responsible for the Quai Branly and Institut du Monde Arabe), it soars above a modern woodland garden.

Go to Fondation Louis Vuitton to view works by established artists, but come here for more niche and avant-garde works by lesser known contemporary artists.

Originally opened in 1984, Fondation Cartier has been a leader for support of new artists.

Check out their gift shop where you can find a wide selection of old movies.
