Comptoir 102 is a real concept store with a soul AND it’s located, not in a Mall as you might expected from Dubai, but in a beautiful house.

It’s comprised of:

• a restaurant: the emphasis is here on seasonal, local, organic, healthy food. Their menu is fantastic and changes according to market buys. Great for lunch or even dinner!
• a gallery: they exhibit quite well-know artists. When I went, they showcased artworks from Arik Levy, the famous Israeli artist and designer
• a shop: where you can find furniture, accessories for the home, cool clothes and shoes and even books
• It’s the brainchild of to French Ladies, Emma and Alexandra whom I met for a short interview. You can read it here.

It’s a bit off, so you’ll need to get there by taxi but it’s a real heaven in the middle of the heat and buzz of the city.
