For those interested in architecture (which is kind of a must in Tel Aviv), the city boasts itself of 4.000 buildings built in Bauhaus International style in by Germans architects fleeing the Nazis during the 1930’s. This collection of buildings is referred to as the White City and was proclaimed as World Cultural Heritage site by UNESCO in 2003.

The Bauhaus Centre is a place dedicated to the preservation of this heritage. It’s a museum and a design shop. They also organise architectural tours of the city.
