What I liked about Vida Downtown Dubai is its small size and it’s refined atmosphere. It attracts a posh crowd but no bling here just “bon gout”.

The decoration is elegant with a very soft oriental touch by using white moucharabieh.

It’s conveniently well-located, a 10-minute walk from the Souk Al Bahar & the Dubai Mall (the souk is actually connected to the Mall). If you don’t want to walk, there are shuttle buses.

There’s a great atmosphere everywhere. The pool is perfect. The staff is very helpful & always smiling.

Bedding is outstanding and the room service is efficient and priced the same as the restaurant (reasonable).

There is a French upscale restaurant, La Serre, a Japanese restaurant, Toko and a more casual restaurant for breakfast or lunch (some business men and women lunch there) called 3 in1.

At night, you can also eat around the pool for a relaxed atmosphere and an oriental touch (food & shisha), with music playing.

What I would add: a vanity mirror in the bathroom and, perhaps, a steamroom.

A perfect place to stay.
